This is not a car - it's a microlino
The cuddly M-cro is now available in all arcona hotels (Sylt, Rügen, Usedom, Weimar, Ahrenshoop and on Mallorca). Every hotel guest can hire the Mircolino for 29 euros per day. There is a special offer for members of the my arcona circle of friends: they can use the Microlino free of charge for one day during their stay. Before the trip, every guest can register with my arcona and benefit directly from this discount.
Eye-catcher and happiness-maker
"People stop smiling when they see the Microlino and want to take selfies with it," says Alexander Winter, owner and partner of arcona. "Anyone sitting in the car enjoys a "go-kart-like" ride and has an unforgettable experience. The Microlino is a perfect match for arcona as a happiness booster. We are delighted about the cooperation and are sure that our guests will love the offer."
Fits into any gap
The Microlino is available in three different versions with a range of 93, 177 and 228 kilometers. Not only is it 100 percent electric, it can also be easily charged from a household socket. During production and use, it consumes 65 percent less energy than a conventional small car.
The pioneering vehicle is Microlino's electric answer to the need for an efficient, maneuverable lifestyle car with low energy and space requirements. In 1999, the Swiss Wim Ouboter founded the company Micro. With the first kick scooter for urban mobility, it coined the term "micromobility". The Micro kick scooter sold millions of units the year it was launched and has since been copied countless times.
With its first e-scooter, Micro ventured into electromobility in 2013. Since then, Micro has continuously developed its electric product range - also in cooperation with car manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes and Peugeot. In 2015, Micro began developing the Microlino under the leadership of Wim Ouboter's sons Merlin and Oliver. Initially intended as a PR campaign for the Geneva Motor Show, public interest was so great that Micro decided to go ahead with series development. After a number of setbacks, including the takeover of Micro's former production partner by a third company, Micro decided to completely redesign the Microlino and take production into its own hands.
Micro is a Swiss family business that is wholly owned by the Ouboter family. It has received numerous awards for its products and leadership, including the Fast Company and Most Innovative Company Award.
