State Secretary Elisabeth Aßmann visits the Vju Hotel Rügen
Rügen, 07.10.2022 - On Thursday, October 6, 2022, State Secretary Elisabeth Aßmann from the Ministry for Climate Protection, Agriculture, Rural Areas and the Environment visited the Vju Hotel Rügen. In office since May 2022, the politician got to know the UNESCO Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, of which the arcona Hotels & Resorts hotel is a member of the partner network.

Paul Schwaiger takes over management of the Triforêt Alpine Resort in Hinterstoder
Rostock/Hinterstoder, 08.09.2022 - Back in April, the management of arcona announced that a new alpine jewel was being created in Hinterstoder: The disused Berghotel Hinterstoder is being developed into a 4-star resort with 61 rooms, suites and lodges. The 20 lodges are being built in the surrounding forest. From September 2022, Paul Schwaiger will be responsible for the new Triforêt alpin.resort as Pre-Opening Resort Manager.

arcona realigns itself internally
Rostock, 21.06.2022 - arcona lives its new corporate identity not only externally, but also internally. Whether trainee or manager, whether at the Rostock headquarters or in one of the six arcona hotels: all employees are part of a common corporate culture that is committed to openness, mindfulness and authenticity. Based on this idea, arcona has now developed a programmatic guideline, launched an online academy and introduced a new applicant management system.

Opening of barefoot HOTEL Mallorca by Til Schweiger
Rostock / Mallorca, 30.05.2022 - Til Schweiger's barefoot concept is now also coming to Mallorca, the Germans' favorite island. The barefoot Hotel Mallorca in Portocolom, on the picturesque east coast of the Balearic island, will welcome its first guests on July 1. The operator of the 60-room hotel is the arcona Hotels & Resorts hotel group, which is already planning another barefoot hotel on Lake Tegernsee.

Summer fun at Wartburg Castle - Golden Mary and colorful cocktails

Around 200 guests danced late into the night at the Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg summer party
At the beginning of the summer fun, however, the rain initially caused the program to be changed. However, the good-humored guests were not disturbed by this and actively helped to clear the tables in the Wartburg's Wappensaal. Even the opening speech by hotel director Hannes Horsch was wetter than planned due to the downpour. Fortunately, the rain subsided afterwards and the 200 or so guests feasted and danced the night away at a summer chic party full of style, extravagance and charm until the early hours of the morning. The band "GOLDEN MARY" and DJ Darryl Ferrandino provided the perfect soundtrack
.The welcome drink, refreshing cocktails, wine, champagne, gin from the Eisenach-based manufacturer Martins Gink and the large dessert buffet turned the night into a summery delight and were highly praised by the visitors. The light show on the historic façade of the hotel was also met with enthusiasm.

"The Sommervergnügen was a complete success despite the rain," commented Hotel Director Hannes Horsch after the party night. "We're already looking forward to next year! On August 10, 2024, we will be dancing and feasting again at the Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg."
