Rostock/Teschow, 31.08.2023 - On Saturday, August 26, 2023, it was that time again: The "Cup of arcona Hotels & Resorts" took place at the Schloss Teschow Golf Club. The men's gross winner was Christopher Hintz from GC Kallin (HCP 4.5/5), while Bettina Scheutzow from GC Schloss Teschow (HCP 24.3/27) came out on top in the women's gross category.

Mallorca expert moves to the top

The Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg, situated high above Eisenach, offers a wonderful view over the Thuringian Forest and the birthplace of Johann Sebastian Bach as a neighbor of the almost 1000-year-old UNESCO World Heritage Wartburg. Guests of the hotel particularly appreciate the excellent gastronomy, the small, fine wellness area for relaxation and the warmth of all the staff. The Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg is part of the Rostock-based company arcona HOTELS & RESORTS. The shareholders of the arcona Group are Alexander Winter and Prof. Stephan Gerhard.
arcona HOTELS & RESORTS
Founded in 2008, arcona HOTELS & RESORTS, based in Rostock, is a company specializing in the operation and development of hotels. As part of its reorientation towards the leisure and vacation hotel industry, arcona sold its city hotels at the beginning of 2019. The remaining six hotels are located in established vacation destinations such as Rügen, Sylt and Kitzbühel. The well-known Hotel Elephant Weimar, the traditional Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg and the Schloss Teschow golf club are also part of arcona's portfolio. Barefoot Hotels will be a new business segment in the future. In 2018, arcona signed a long-term contract with Barefoot founder Til Schweiger for the worldwide implementation of the concept as a licensee. Accordingly, arcona intends to open further Barefoot Hotels at prominent destinations in the coming years. The shareholders of arcona are Alexander Winter and Treugast founder Prof. Stephan Gerhard.
