Rostock, 12.05.2022 - Eight traditional and highly individual hotels, including the legendary Autograph Collection Hotel Elephant Weimar and the Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg: How do they fit under a common umbrella brand that can be a driver of development? Together with the Berlin agency Müller-Valentini, arcona has been working intensively on this question.

"We have used the winter months to transform our showpiece into a modern property with a relaxed atmosphere with attention to detail. We will now also carefully modernize public areas and thank the owner for the investments made," says Alexander Winter, Managing Partner of arcona Hotels & Resorts.
From November 2023 until now, the partial refurbishment has taken place during ongoing hotel operations. Inspired by the charm of the Baltic Sea coast, warm shades of color now meet elegant accents and impress with fine fabrics, sustainable wood panels and high-quality furnishings. "The new rooms not only impress with their modern and inviting design, but also with their unique location, just a few metres from the fine sandy beach," emphasizes Hotel Director Lars Groche.
Despite the ongoing renovation work, 52 rooms and suites were available to guests at the hotel. "We mastered the challenge of carrying out the renovation smoothly during hotel operations," emphasizes Groche. Guests even had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes during regular construction site tours and experience the work up close.
However, the renovation is far from complete. In the near future, the outdoor pool on the roof terrace will be heated and can be used all year round. Guests will therefore be able to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the pool even in the cooler months. Another highlight will be the new sauna with a breathtaking view of the Baltic Sea and the pier. This will be installed on the roof terrace later this year.
Also popular at the Hotel Kaiserhof: the free daily activity program, which gives you a new lease of life. If the sun isn't shining, the winter garden with library invites you to browse. Of course, guests with children are also welcome at the Kaiserhof. Throughout the summer vacations, there are seahorse swimming courses and an extensive children's program. The newly designed rooms and suites offer enough space for the whole family.

The 4-star superior Hotel Kaiserhof is located in the famous Kaiserbad Heringsdorf on Usedom, directly on the Baltic Sea. Its unique prime location makes the hotel the ideal starting point for hikes along the beach and walks along the promenade to the nearby famous pier. At the Kaiserhof itself, you can pamper yourself in the wellness area after an eventful day. You can satisfy your hunger in the palm garden, the summer garden or the winter garden. In addition to the library and piano bar, the Kaiserhof also offers a very special form of entertainment: Many of the hotel's 143 rooms and suites have balconies or terraces with sea views or are located in close proximity to the sea.
