Combination of adventure, sport, relaxation and enjoyment

The Triforêt stands for the ideal balance of adventure, sport, relaxation and enjoyment 365 days a year. The main building with 61 hotel rooms/suites as well as the 41 exclusive. These include 20 detached lodges in a modern alpine style and 41 exclusively furnished apartments in the main building.

The exclusively equipped spa and wellness area covering 1000 square meters invites you to linger. Sauna, fitness and selected cosmetic and wellness treatments after a sporty day round off the offer.

During the ski day, the new Ski-In & Out restaurant with its spacious sun terrace offers a varied menu and in the evening guests can enjoy the exquisite cuisine of the restaurant, the Hutterer Alpin Restaurant. The bar, designed in a modern alpine style with an open fireplace, invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together.

Children will also get their money's worth - not only on the ski slopes and in the Kids Park, but also in summer on the mountain trails, paragliding or other varied sports and leisure activities.

As part of the renovation, new rooms will be created in the main building as well as in the restaurant, offering an innovative setting for incentives, conferences and private events. The hotel will reopen for the 2023/2024 winter season.

The architecture

[In the multi-award-winning Upper Austrian architecture firm ARKFORM, TRIFORÊT has found a guarantor for responsible and sustainable construction methods with the predicate "enkelfähigkeit". Over the past 20 years, ARKFORM has earned a good reputation and high recognition with sustainable architecture and a straightforward approach to work, consistency in implementation, the highest quality down to the very last detail, cost transparency and handshake quality. Architect Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Landerl received the Austrian Architecture State Prize for Industry & Commerce for the planning of Grüne Erde Welt 2019 and the Austrian Interior Design Award for Haus am See 2021. Now the ARKFORM team is setting new standards with TRIFORÊT.

The creative agency Derenko from Vienna is responsible for developing the corporate design. "When you think of Triforêt, you are surrounded by the intense scent of the forest and the rays of light that tower over the mountain panorama and the special architecture. The suggestion of the organic mountain peaks in the logo concentrates these impressions on the imposing view from the lodges," explains Thomas Purr, Project Development Derenko Ges.m.b.H.

Snow-sure insider tip

Hinterstoder is the heart of the Pyhrn-Priel region in southern Upper Austria, on the border with Styria. Well developed for tourism, but not overcrowded, the region attracts visitors with its impressive natural scenery and a variety of attractions. In winter, 40 kilometers of groomed slopes at an altitude of around 2,000 m promise skiing fun with guaranteed snow. Those who prefer cross-country skiing, snowshoe tours or tobogganing can also let off steam to their heart's content. Hinterstoder is also a varied vacation destination in summer: a network of well-marked hiking trails leads into idyllic valleys and up to magnificent panoramic peaks, with rustic huts for refreshments along the way - and the crystal-clear mountain lake for a dip. Mountain bikers and paragliders also get their money's worth.

The region around Hinterstoder is easily accessible via the A9 highway, but also by public transport. The nearest airport is in Linz, 80 kilometers away.

DERENKO interior design for hotels and restaurants

DERENKO is a family-run design & project management office for the hotel and catering industry based in Vienna and Lower Austria. Founded in 1910 as a joinery, the company now has around 45 employees and provides support from initial concept development through design, functional planning, technical and official planning to complete implementation as a general contractor.
