The 43-year-old started her career in the travel industry and has gained experience in various positions in the international hotel industry since 2008. She worked at Robinson Club Maldives and other resorts in the Maldives and Mauritius, where Susanne Brunner held positions of responsibility including Director Rooms and Manager Marketing and Communication. Most recently, as Resort Manager, she was responsible for the pre- and post-opening of Kagi Maldives Spa Island. In May 2021, Brunner moved to the Romantik Spa Hotel Elixhauser Wirt in Austria. Ready for the island

Hotspot not just for surfers

The Wyn Strandhotel Sylt is located behind the dunes, directly on Sylt's 40-kilometer-long west beach. It is just a stone's throw away from lively Westerland and attracts not only beach vacationers but also the elite of windsurfers in the summer months. Throughout the year, the hotel attracts travelers of all ages and interests to the island for cycling, golfing, horse riding or walking.

The 72-room hotel has a lot to offer not only outside, but also inside: One of the highlights is the indoor panorama pool on the top floor with a view of the North Sea.

Founded in 2008, arcona Hotels & Resorts, based in Rostock, is a company specializing in the operation and development of hotels. As part of its reorientation towards the leisure and vacation hotel industry, arcona sold its city hotels at the beginning of 2019.
