Located directly by the sea, the arcona Hotels & Resorts on Sylt, Rügen and in Heringsdorf promise relaxed working hours with lunch on the terrace and sundowners on the beach. In the cooler months of the year, barefoot Mallorca beckons with mild temperatures and southern flair. But in the cultural and student city of Weimar, at the legendary Wartburg Castle, in glamorous Kitzbühel or in the midst of the impressive mountains of Upper Austria, work and enjoyment of nature can also be seamlessly combined during a workation. For its commitment on Rügen, Project Bay was one of two projects to win the German preliminary round of this year's European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA). Every year since 2006, the European Commission has presented the European Enterprise Promotion Awards to public authorities, economic and educational institutions and public-private partnerships that are committed to supporting entrepreneurship. The final winners of the award will be announced in November 2023.
