Rostock/Teschow, 31.08.2023 - On Saturday, August 26, 2023, it was that time again: The "Cup of arcona Hotels & Resorts" took place at the Schloss Teschow Golf Club. The men's gross winner was Christopher Hintz from GC Kallin (HCP 4.5/5), while Bettina Scheutzow from GC Schloss Teschow (HCP 24.3/27) came out on top in the women's gross category.

One-week experiential journey for balance and lightness in everyday life
During the Yoga & Movement Retreat from November 19 to 26, guests will experience a different self-perception and feel themselves in a new way by looking at and moving in different ways. Yoga and movement offer important approaches that have a positive effect on the body and the associated mindset. How can both be positively influenced and brought into a better balance? This is what the participants and trainer will focus on during the various yoga & movement units of the retreat.
The program is complemented by a three-hour coffee experience in the Braderup coffee workshop, where participants calibrate their taste buds and try different coffees, coffee makers and brewing recipes. A mudflat hike and body screening & testing, where the stability and mobility of the body is determined in its current state, round off the offer.

Founded in 2008, arcona Hotels & Resorts, based in Rostock, is a company specializing in the operation and development of hotels. As part of its reorientation towards the leisure and vacation hotel industry, arcona sold its city hotels at the beginning of 2019. The remaining six hotels are located in established vacation destinations such as Rügen, Sylt and Kitzbühel. The well-known Hotel Elephant Weimar, the traditional Romantik Hotel auf der Wartburg and the Schloss Teschow golf club are also part of arcona's portfolio. Barefoot Hotels will be a new business segment in the future. In 2018, arcona signed a long-term contract with Barefoot founder Til Schweiger for the worldwide implementation of the concept as a licensee. Accordingly, arcona intends to open further Barefoot Hotels at prominent destinations in the coming years. The shareholders of arcona are Alexander Winter and Treugast founder Prof. Stephan Gerhard.
