The Rheingauer Manufaktur was named sparkling wine producer of the year in 2022 and stands for sparkling wines made from first-class base wines using the classic bottle fermentation method.
To match the wines, chef Johannes Wallner has created a six-course menu that will make the hearts of gourmets beat faster:

• 2018 Chardonnay brut, Rheingau water buffalo tartare & pine nuts, cucumber, wild garlic cream
• 2016 Gewürztraminer brut, Saale-Unstrut fattened liver terrine & truffle, fig chutney, brioche
• 2016 Assmannshäuser Hinterkirch Blanc de Noir brut, Rheingau lobster & barley, apple foam, black pudding
• 2017 Pinot Blanc brut, Saale-Unstrut turbot & apricot, wild berry, fennel
• 2016 Assmannshäuser Falkenthal Pinot Noir extra brut, Rheingau Thuringian saddle of venison & asparagus, cranberry, nut butter
• 2015 Erbacher Marcobrunn Riesling extra brut,Rheingau Tonka bean & strawberry, green pepper

The event starts at 7 pm and comprises six courses. Tickets are available at hotelelephantweimar.de/ticketshop for 199 euros per person, including champagne aperitif, wine accompaniment, water, soft drinks and coffee.
