Founded by Norbert Bardong in historic vaults that were built for sparkling wine production in the 19th century, Bardong, born in 1956, discovered his love for the "product" while studying beverage technology in Geisenheim and spending time in the Champagne region and decided to refine wines from his "own" region into sparkling wine using the traditional, historically influenced method.
Bardong sparkling wine is produced exclusively using this method, the "classic bottle fermentation".
