Born in Frankfurt, Björn Wild has many years of experience as a general manager and is a proven expert for boutique hotels in Spain. The 44-year-old all-rounder gained experience in management positions at renowned hotels before taking over his first luxury boutique hotel in Riga at the age of 30. Since then, he has proven himself as General Manager of numerous hotels in Spain, worked as a hotel consultant and made a name for himself as COO of White Brand Hotels, which he co-founded. He is looking forward to his new role: "I want to make the barefoot hotel one of the best lifestyle hotels on the island."

Björn Wild replaces Oliver Kunz, who successfully opened the hotel, at the helm of the barefoot Hotel.

Idyll with Mallorcan flair

The barefoot Hotel Mallorca, newly built in 2022, is located directly on the bay of Portocolom with a view of the harbor and the sea through pine trees. The bay of Cala Marçal with its fine sandy beach is just a few minutes from the hotel, while diving enthusiasts can get their money's worth at the nearby Skualo Adventure Sports Center. Surrounded by Mallorcan beauty and just a few steps away from the picturesque harbor, the hotel is a gem and retreat that promises relaxation in a relaxed atmosphere and at the same time offers access to the lively vacation fun in the nearby coastal towns.

The interior of the barefoot hotel combines maximum comfort with relaxed luxury and Mallorcan flair. Natural materials and light color nuances bring summery lightness into the interior of the four-story building. The 60 generously proportioned rooms and suites are furnished in light natural tones and exude the serenity of a long summer's day. Eleven room categories - from comfortable double rooms and family rooms to luxurious suites with sea views, Jacuzzi and terrace - are available for guests to choose from. All rooms are individually air-conditioned. A special feature are the "private roof terraces with jacuzzi and sea view", which can be booked separately.

Pool, spa, restaurant and roof terraces

The barefoot hotel offers its guests a wide range of amenities without having to walk long distances. If you don't want to head to the beach, you can cool off in the outdoor pool, browse on the sun terrace and enjoy refreshments at the bar. The spa with sauna, hammam and relaxation pools invites you to relax even on cooler days and offers a pampering program with massages and other wellness offers. The barefood restaurant offers casual dining and Mallorcan cuisine combined with "Til's favorite dishes", with a focus on fresh products.
